Delete key

For some reason my delete key will not automatically
delete if you highlight a word then hit the key. The
bottom tool bar comes up with a message "do you wish to
delete Y/N " If you select Y it will then delete. How do I
restore back to its previous way of working - its so
frustrating.

Right click on your recycle bin. Choose properties.

Under the tab global, deselect "display delete
confirmation dialog"
