delete internet graphic saved to desktop

Help...I right clicked a graphic on the internet and
chose "save to desktop". This didn't put an icon to open
but rather the graphic is showing and I can't delete it.
I'm running windows xp. I've tried chanding my desktop
theme, it's still there
 
Are you certain you chose to save the item or did you choose another option
like Set as Desktop item? Right click a place on the Desktop and select
Properties->Web Tab and delete the item from there.
 
found the answer...now can I delete this question

In OE, View>Cancel Message. It will still appear in your list unless you
re-download the NG, however.
