delete hyperlink

I need to delete 1 hyperlink, my e-mail address, for an on-line resume and MS
Office Word 2007 is different from what I usually utilize. I have tried
highlighting address and hitting alt-F9 with no results.

Can anyone help?

CTRL+SHIFT+F9 or right click and select remove hyperlink.
