Delete History Search

I can get the history file to delete with no problems.
The weird thing is when I click on "search"
under "history", it brings up sites that I haven't looked
at for over a year. These sites are not saved anywhere on
my computer. Anyone know how to delete these?
 
Delete the History folder and index.dat:
