I want to delete a frequent contact but am unable to locate it in my address
books. It is only an email address; no display name, no other info attached
to it.
When I start typing in the "To" line with the beginning of the email
address, it auto-fills to that email address.
How can I find it and delete it so that it doesn't auto-fill or remember
that email address anymore?
thx.

The autocompletion cache has nothing to do with your Contacts. Remove
individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting the entry
when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to migrate to
the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of the field.
To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:

That worked like a charm! Thanks Russ!!
