Hi,

I have a large customer that would like to delete the Microsoft PowerPoint
Designs and replace them with only their own. Is this possible? Can one
remove the designs - are they placed in a specific folder? If so - what
folder for PC: PPT 2003/2007 and the relevant PPT versions for Mac (the last
2 - whatever they are called)?

Does removing these affect Word, Excel designs also?

Do you know of any script that could do this (remove replace designs) from a
central server? They install most programs centrally.

Thanks for any answer on this!

I think you cannot remove these in PPT 2007. But the folder is here:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Document Themes 12

http://www.echosvoice.com/2007/whatgoeswhere.htm has more info on that and
also where to store custom templates and themes.

For 97-2002 and 2003, see
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/tutorials.htm ("locating and storing
your templates")

I'm pretty sure the installed templates for 2003 are in C:\Program Files \
Microsoft Office \ Templates \ Presentation Designs.
