Delete default templates

Hello,
I'm using Power Point 2003 and I have this problem:
I wish to delete all default template of Power Point that I can choose
when I go to File/New/Tempaltes on my computer/Design Templats.
I have tried to delete all files from "C:\Programmi\Microsoft Office
\Templates" directory but when I create a new presentation I still see
list of all templates and,If I choose a template, Power Point
reinstall it.
Thanks for your help,

Knowing where they are does not empower one to remove them. Ms Sonia has
chosen to keep the default template names but reconfigure the content. This
prevents powerpoint from re-installing the defaults, but does not answer the
question.

If you go to where the default files are located and remove them, you will
continually get a nag screen from Powerpoint that asks "this feature is not
working properly, do you want powerpoint to repair it" or something along
those lines. Well, the answer is no. I want them to go away. Powerpoint
formats are dictated by the highly paid brand consultants, and I would like
ONLY the formats that enhance our brand to be available for selection.

Somewhere, in secret sections of the powerpoint software, a copy of these
templates is stored -- because it repairs it without access to the original
CD. Therefore, the question is where is this? How do we change it? or
better yet, how do we stop the "repair" process?

may help explain where the templates are housed.

Good question. I don't know the answer. Maybe somewhere in the registry?

Hopefully someone else will have some ideas.
