delete button

I cannot delete messages from inbox. The button flashes
but the message rekains. I get a box saying this message
cannot be deleted. Yet if I go todeleted folder the
message is there. I also am able to delete messages from
deleted folder. I have talked to internet provider and
dell and cannot find answer

If this happens in Outlook Express: "delete" all the messages from the
Inbox, then in Tools > Options > Maintenance > Store Folder find the
folder, where OE keeps the data files. Close OE and then and rename
the INBOX.DBX file in the Store Folder. Start OE again and undelete
the messages that you still need by moving them from Deleted Items to
the Inbox.
If this does not help, you may want to post this to a more proper
