Delete background images

Hello, I have a problem I hope someone can help me with.
I have like hundreds of background images to choose from.
A lot of these our dowmloaded pictures that I have loaded from disk.
I would like to delete some of these to free up any space possible.
My wife likes a different background every day or so and does not like the XP choices, so we
download our own. When I try to right click on them through the control panel it says whats this.
It does not give me an option to delete these images or alter them in anyway.

Go to the folder in which you've stored them in Windows Explorer and delete
them there.
