delete a database

I have all these databases, that I have accumulated over time, and I want to
tidy it up, I would like to delete the databases that I dont use anymore.
Have done a search etc, etc and cannnot find anything on it....

One way would be to burn them to a CD and remove them from your hard
drive. Then if you still need one after awhile, you can get it back
from that CD you will keep around for several years.

A database exists in one or more .mdb, .mde, .accdb, .accde or a couple of
other formats.

These files can be deleted using Windows Explorer, in exactly the same way you
would delete a Word document or a .jpg image file. Just select the .mdb file
and delete it.

DO make an offline backup first... in my experience the one absolutely
guaranteed way to make a database (or other file) suddenly become essential is
to irreversibly delete it!
