We have one domain with out 250 users. Right now i
control all of the passwords for the users in the domain.
Due to the overflow of service calls i recieve i want to
be able to delegate control to say the managers in my
company such as the accounting, legal, finance, etc
managers. But these managers xp and windows 2000 not
server. Is there anyway that they can just get to active
directory and nothing else

Hi Jason-

You can do 2 things:

Allow each user to install the adminpak.msi from the I386 directory from
your W2K server cd OR create a TASKPAD View MMC to send to the user and
delegate permissions.

i tried the adminpak on an xp machine an it installed but
it wouldn't open up active directory users and computers.
I am not to sure on how to create a taskpad view i know
its probably simple but i never had to do it. SO if you
could give me some instuctions to just get started im sure
i could figure it out. Thanks alot
