John, I think I understand now. The source video files
ane not in clip form. WMM2 must make clips from each of
the 3 homogeneous source file.
=================================
Right...Movie Maker will create clips when you
import the files unless you uncheck "Create
Clips for Video Files".
And you can use the split option to "cut" the
movie anywhere you wish.
=================================
I think you can deleat JPEG pictures form
the source file one at a time, is that
correct?
=================================
Yes, image files can be deleted from the
folder they are saved in. If you delete them
from the Movie Maker interface it only removes
them from Movie Maker.
I suggest that you are careful about what
you delete until your Movie Maker project
is completed.
If your hard drive is so full that you need to
free up space by deleting image files...it
is time for a larger hard drive. I maintain
at least 50% free space on mine.

Thanks for you responses. I will stay with the
thread in the future. I thought the thread had gotten
too cold to respond.

You're welcome.
I would suggest that you experiment with
the program until you feel comfortable with it.
BTW...we read all the messages...
