Hi

I would like to delay sending of all of my emails by 24 hours. I was originally going to do this using the rules wizard, but it has a maximum of 120 minutes (2 hours). Can anyone suggest a mechanism for holding all outgoing mail for 24 hours, whilst not effecting the receiving of mail

Best Regards

You make no mention of which version of Outlook that you are using. I have
Outlook 2002 and it has a delivery option that will let me specify anything
from today to decades away (I gave up checking on the farthest date when
scrolling through the calendar when I got to January 2050) on half-hour
boundaries. When composing a new message, click on the Options toolbar
button and use the "Don't not deliver before" option.

If you use Exchange, you probably don't need to have Outlook running at the
time you schedule to send the e-mail. If you are using a .pst file and SMTP
then obviously Outlook cannot send the e-mail unless it is running.

Thanks,

I am using Outlook 2000, and I can use the settings inside a new message, but this is a massive overhead if you have to do it for every message. What I was looking for was a way to do this automatically for every message - using the rules wizard the maximum is 2 hours.
