I keep getting a balloon tip in my system tray wity a
yellow exclamation triangle that is titled "Windows -
Delayed Write Error" and it tells me that there is an
error writing a particular file to the hard drive at a
particular location and that it is the result of
a "computer hardware failure or network failure". Could
this be that my hard drive is dying? I noticed this after
I installed Windows Media Player 9. Also, I've been
tweaking my Group Policies and Services. Has anyone here
had this error before? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

My system specs:
Antec TruePower 380w PSU
MSI KT3 Ultra
GEIL 512MB PC2700 rated at CL2 5-2-2-1T
ATI Radeon 9500 Pro 128MB
SB Live! 5.1
Linksys WMP11 v2.7 802.11b NIC
Western Digital 40GB 5400 RPM HDD
Yamaha CRW-F1E CD-RW drive

Latest VIA, ATI, and Creative drivers
Windows XP Pro SP1a

Sometimes I find it to be a little funny that I end up
over looking something that was never even considered and
that ends up being the root of the problem. After a bit
more research and one last install of windows, I decided
to read ati's readme for their video driver. Here is what
I found:

This little detail is what was causing my problem. Hope
this helps anyone with a similar problem.
