Delayed delivery

Hi,

When ever some one sends mails to me, it is not delivered
to me immediately. Even after a send/Receive it is not
delivering the message. I know, the have sent it me.

This is happening inside our network. Not a mail from a
outside.

If open any mail from my Inbox ,then all pending mails
will be delivered to me immediately (Flushed from the
server). I'm wondering which is causing this issue?
