Delay

When trying to browse my system, whether it be through the start icon or explorer, there is about a 30 second delay before anything happens. For example, if I was trying to go to the system restore, I press start (30 seconds), programs (30 seconds), etc. Can you give me a hand?

You almost certainly need more memory - is your hard
drive light flashing during this time? if so it is
accessing the swap file, as the memory is not big enough
to handle all the open processes, some are stored on the
drive, and have to be reloaded into memory to be used.
Also could be that you are overusing your processor -
check task manager / performance (right click task bar)
tab to see whats going on.
