when I defrag, it tells me that there are files it could
not defrag. It doesn't show what the files are in the
report. How do I fix this problem?
Anyone please help,
Paul

Paul: This might not work, but worth a try: go to my
computer>rt click the drive>properties>tools>checknow.
This takes about 30 min. on my unit. Then try a defrag
IF! after XP analyzes and says you need a Defrag.
Also, check virtual memory, you may have overloaded with an
app.

Paul,

Try booting into Safe mode and defragmenting from there. It may be able to
do a better job. If not, there are always 3rd party tools.
