1,Defragmenter ver.1 and it causes a (BSOD) Blue Screen of
Death; I have installed a new Western Digital 60GB
Harddisk. I have reinstalled XP two times, like an idiot I
run Windows XP Defragmenter and my computer is affected,
the BSOD states [IRQ not less or equal, Windows has shut
your computer down].

2, After reboot in XP error window [your computer has
recovered from a serious error... sending error report...]
I am given product code, ie: Windows XP Build #, status
error # 804EDCEB, What is this?

3, Error # 804E414E was the code before I reinstalled XP
the first time. Has this any relevance to older ME program
as I said Defragment is Version 1. Executive... 2001;
All or any help with this is greatly appreciated.

KC,

BSOD can only be caused by hardware issue or a driver that "isn't playing
well".

What happens if you boot into Safe Mode and defrag from there? Do you still
get the BSOD?
