Defragging the registry

There's no such thing really. Unless you have some compelling reason it's
best to leave the registry alone.

Some registry cleaning programs also offer registry defragging. Is this
necessary? Doesn't the defragger that comes with Windows (as well as
other defraggers)defrag the registry along with the rest of the drive?
Is there any benefit to defragging the registry first before defragging
the rest of the drive (or vice versa)?

Unless you know exactly what you are doing, using a reg cleaner is a quick
way to create an unusable sys
