Defrag

My HDD(40gig) is so badly fragmented that I havent enough
memory to run Defrag or CHKDSK on bootup.
After about 60 seconds of defragging the PC will
bluescreen and do a memory dump.
Any idea's.......

BSOD crashes can only be caused by a hardware issue or a driver that isn't
playing well with others.

Please make sure that you system is configured to capture a full dump and to
NOT immediately reboot after a crash. See if you can re-create . When the
system crashes, what is the STOP code and what driver is identified?

Sounds like you 40 giged out!You can,IF YOU WANT TO,shut
off system restore,that'll give you enough space to
defrag,then turn it back on.start--control panel--system--
system restore--check box--ok--ok,yhen when your done
TURN IT BACK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
