Defrag skips much of drive

I assume that defrag is skipping large areas because the folder permissions
are not set up properly.

I believe defrag is skipping my many Roaming Profiles folder because it
doesn't have permission. Hell, even as the administrator, I cannot get
access to the user's folder.

What do I need to do to have defrag do the entire drive?

Thanks.

this doesn't sound good. what does the event viewer say?
maybe you should consider getting a good quality defragger like diskeeper.
I've used it for years....it's very good. The newest version for the server
is sweet!

Okay, I went through all that with a hitch and it still doesn't defrag much
of the drive. What else do I need to do? Do I need to run defrag under a
special condition?
