Defrag Issues could be solved

Just a little note of wonder here...if diskeeper can defrag a Vista system as
well as it can, then why not contact them about recoding the default defrag
program in Windows? It occurs to me that "best practice" and "benchmarking"
are NOT just buzzwords, and with proper use can provide huge improvement in
products and services. Just wondering....

And then what would Diskeeper have to sell?
 
MS would have to pay a license fee or we could end up with a crippled version again. which might be not much better than what we have.
have often wondered if the powers that be at MS are heavily investing in the companies that produce items we suddenly need to have.
more memory, larger hard drives, defragger, etc....

Don't forget that the defrag applet in Win NT, 2000 and XP is the distant
cousin of Diskeeper. Did Diskeeper have a problem selling the full blown
versions?

(I am not a Diskeeper user).
