Defrag hard drive - single file or across network?

Hi all,

Is there a freeware defrag program for Win XP Pro that will defrag
individual files, or across a network?

Contig.exe from www.sysinternals.com will works on individual files
on a local drive. Across a network is trickier because the defrag
software typically has to have physical access to the drive.
