I'm using Outlook 2003 with IMAP>

Is it possible to change the location of the PST file that IMAP uses?
There doesn't seems to be an option. I still have my current PST file
with all my data (contacts, tasks, etc) as I want to keep that local.

Thank you.

Shawn

The imap data file is still a pst, therefore it should still be located on
the local pc as MS doesnt support the use of a pst elsewhere.
If you mean you want to access imap on another outlook installation, simply
setup imap on that installation, what you see on one PC will be replicated
on the other pc

The location of the PST file can be changed. Is this for yourself or many PC's?
If just for you, Add another PST file (blank) to the profile, Close Outlook,
Control Panel - Mail Icon, and set the default location to be that new blank
PST file. Copy the correct PST file over the new blank one.

If for multiple PC's you want to use Outlook Profiler.

This won't work for IMAP pst's and will corrupt the profile if you try it
with POP3 accounts. Use the method at the link Gordon posted to move IMAP
pst's. (http://www.slipstick.com/config/moveimap.asp)
