1. Within a cell the simple calcualtion (5+5) or (10-2)

2. Within multiple cells along with custom formula
((cellA1+cellB1)/celld1)

If the above formula is entered into cell E1, will it be
caterogrized as Macro? Describe in detail what are the
criteria for Macro Classification.

What you described was a formula.

Probably your best bet would be to refer to texts that include
introductory coverage of VBA programming and here one of the most
common recommendations is John Walkenbach's Excel 97 (or 2000 or 2002)
Bible. Or do a search in a good bookshop, Amazon.com or see the
