New user and have a question. When an item is detected and asks for an
action, it says, if you trust the source, its probably OK. However, I CANNOT
find a way to view the source so that I can make the proper decision.

This software is typically benign when it runs on your computer, unless it
was installed without your knowledge. If you're not sure whether to allow it,
review the alert details or check to see if you recognize and trust the
publisher of the software.

The alert details, nor the alert box provided the source/software vendor, etc.
Therefore, how do you know, or find out, so that the action decision can be
made?

ralph,

Perhaps it would help if you gave us all the details you can provide.
Sometimes it takes a bit of research to answer that question.
