Defender v. Autosave

Every time Defender sweeps my PC, every file that has been saved by Autosave
acts like it has been touched (modified), even though the date/time stamp
remains the same as the original value. Since I have several Gigabytes of
Autosave'd material, this can be a problem. Is Defender modifying a timestamp
that's not usually visible, that Autosave is reacting to?

Thank you for contacting VCOM/Avanquest USA Technical Support.
In Custom Setup/Advance, you will need to check "Ignore time/attribute
changes", check "Back up only is the file has been written to"
and UNcheck "Do not back up open files".
If there any files left in the Recent Activity, they need to be cleared.
