Defender updates

My version of defender clams its definitions are 63 days out of date. When I
click update now, it thinks for about a minute then a bubble appears saying
it is up-to-date, but the home screen on defender still says it is out of
date.
I have downloaded new definitions via windows update but the problem is
still there. Anyone got any ideas?
 
Msiexec /x {A5CC2A09-E9D3-49EC-923D-03874BBD4C2C}
Copy the above to RUN and click yes, then do the Defender update.
 
I also had the same problem but after reading this, my definitions now show
to be up to date. Thanks!
 
Hi Efrain,
I have tried your suggestion but it still doesn't work, it shows"it is
up-to-date" but in WD shows 107 days out of date?..... please help. thanks
