Is there is a reason you still want to wait for the shield now that you know
that your automatic updates are working on Vista?

Correct, I hit the check for updates after Roh H announced he had found
updates available following an update check.

Automatics I think are OK, that is why as a test I'm testing the Notify only.

So far no shield ;-(
