why these stupid users still continue to signal defender updates???
Please stop with these useless messages,
Keep Windows Update enabled and you'll receive all daily updates
automatically, no user interaction is required!
 
Since I choose NOT to let a program update itself as many others also do,
this message isn't useless to them or me. I choose to update my programs
manually for the simple reason if an update causes a problem, i know where
to start looking. And no we won't stop making announcements for Defender.

I disagree!

By announcing the release of the update as soon as it is noticed the poster
of the update link [usually Engel] has a chance to download it and post the
link early enough that those who use it can get it before the end of the work
day.

The reasons for updating manually have been discussed in the group many
times and I will not go into them here. If you really want to know you can
search.

BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL WORKING TOWARDS BECOMING SENIOR SLAVES FOR UNCLE
BILL. THAT IDIOT CALLED INGEL HAS ALREADY POSTED ABOUT 6500 MESSAGES OF
USELESS STUFF LIKE SOMETHING IS UPDATED OR SOME OTHER NON MICROSOFT
PRODUCT IS UPDATED. EVEN A CHAP CALLING HIMSELF RANDY HAS JOINED THIS
STUPID PRACTICE. APPARENTLY HE WANTS TO BE THE RANDIEST OF ALL OVER
HERE!!

TO BECOME A SENIOR SLAVE, YOU NEED TO BE DOING SOMETHING EVEN IF IT IS
COMPLETELY WASTE OF TIME. HAVEN'T YOU SEEN MESSAGES LIKE: "All went
fine here" AS IF SOMETHING WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO GO ALL FINE OVER HERE!

Just add the Subject (or Sender if you are really bothered) to your kill
file and the messages will be gone from your view.
