Found that Defender was continually turning itself off. OneCare Tech told me
that that waws normal because I didn't need it because I was using OneCare.
(This guy still hasen't been able to fix my OneCare installation - two weeks
so far so my confidience in him is on the wayne.)
Anyway, I decided to uninstall Defender (had been on this machine for about
a year, had the beta running in it without problems as well) and now get the
error "Microsoft Windows OnceCare has been found. Please remove that product
and return to setup.". Now first of all, you cannot install OneCare on any
machine where Defender is installed. And I have no intention of uninstalling
OneCare just to install Defender.
Anyone ever run into this nonsence?
