Is there a way to disable this? I'm using advanced SPYNET settings and this
one action comes up everytime I start my computer. I thought by joining
SPYNET it would eventually get recognized a a legitimate change?here's the
action log from Defender. Or do I need to change the notification settings?
Summary:

Services and Drivers change occurred.

This agent monitors services and drivers acting as part of Windows, often
running with high security privileges. It ensures that no services are being
interfered with or added without proper consent.

Path:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\EntDrv51.sys

Detected changes:

driver:

EntDrv51

You can try adding that specific path and filename to the exclusions:

Tools, Options, scroll down to "Advanced Options" and click Add. Navigate
to the specific path (and file, in this case)

Help! I thought I would try this as it has been annoying me for some
while. When I do it I cannot find EntDrv51.sys in the little pop-up
screen. However, when I go into Windows Explorer it shows there, though
lots of things I could see on the above-mentioned little pop-up screen are
not there. (I show Hidden Files and Folders). Am I going cross-eyed or is
there something else to try?

Ignore my previous post, please. This was one time I powered up and didn't
get request to Allow the change to this driver. I went into the settings,
as before, and there it was. I have Added it, as you suggest, Bill, and
will watch what happens.

Glad that worked. I think it is possible that issues like this will be
fixed, but this may happen closer to release (and possibly after.)
