Defender Install Problem

After overcoming the GDi+ problem, the install gets as far as "Starting
services" and error 1920 "verify you have sufficient priviliges to start
system services." I cannot over come this although all the settings are set
for me as sole administrator and indeed only user of the computer. Any help
please?

I am having the same problem. I disabled McAfee AV and Firewall, same
problem. I tried safe mode, but still get the same problem.
