I scan my computer using Windows defender. It finds Virtumonde.G I follow
the instructions and restart the computer to ensure that it is eliminated.
When I restart the computer and run defender, it finds Virtumonde.G again.
So this time I have the program delete it. Then I immediately do another
scan instead of restarting the computer and it finds it again. Any
suggestions on how to eliminate this problem.
The reason why I downloaded defender was because explorer (not internet
explorer) would often use 99% of CPU usage and make the computer sluggish
until I quit it in task manager and re-ran it. Does Virtumonde.G affect
explorer or is something else messing with it?

Don't know the answer to your last question, but in the Search For: box
toward the top of this window enter Virtumonde and you should find
information to assist you in removing it. Then you can see if Explorer still
exhibits excessive CPU usage.

Also search for virtumondo.

For all exploits that invade the registry it is necessary to turn off system
restore to avoid reinfections upon reboot.

Cleanse the system again, go to Control Panel | System | System Restore and
uncheck the box at the upper left of the panel to halt monitoring. Reboot
the system and turn monitoring back on.

You should have no further problems.
