Steve,
Defender build 1343 is not on the website. It still shows build
1347? Any help?

Jeff

5/3/2006 . Steve Dodson referred to this new build v1343.
Thanks,
Jeff

I think that was a typo--I'd disregard it. Builds are sequentially ordered
over time--you don't want the lower number.

Hi Bill:
Lets experiment and think that it was not a typo error.
This is Steve Dodson [MSFT] reply to the update issue and I quote:

"Are you running the latest build which we refreshed a few weeks ago? If you
are not running build 1343 (help-> about), can you go out to
http://www.microsoft.com/spyware and download the latest one? We have not
turned on automatic updates from beta 2 to beta 2 refresh as of yet." End of
quote.

I upgraded to version 1.1.1347.0 , which is the new beta 2 refreshed. We
will need to wait until he turns on the automatic updates, now on 1343 he is
working, to the refreshed 1347. He is telling us he is still working on
version 1343 which has the automatic updates turned on, and when he finishes
with 1343 , will switch the automatic updates to the 1347 refreshed beta 2.
What do you think? I hope Dodson reads this post and shed some light.

It was a typo. The machine I was looking at when writing that message was
running that build... Sorry :)
