Defender Beta 2 causing e-mail attachment problems in OE

I have found that since installing Defender 2 Beta, I have been unable to
open or save any attachments in Oulook Express. If I try and open an
attachment, nothing happens. If I try and save the attachment I get the
message "there was an error saving one or more of the attachments, please
check to see if you have enough disk space".
I have alos found that I lost the dialogue box when downloading files in IE
6 at the end of the download and when I look for the file in Windows
Explorer, it not in the folder!
I have since uninstalled D2 and Outlook Express is OK and also the files
that I downloaded have appeared!

I have now found the post and I have tried 'unticking' the download setting
and I still have the problem. I tried 'unticking' all the boxes and still
had the problem.

Hi Martyn,

I would recommend you use the Search For: box, and enter Bobk in the
announcements NG. also you can type in the box, e-mail attachments, or
Outlook Express in the box of any NG.
