happens.
any ideas ? novice

Martin;
The normal response to this kind of interference by malware is to boot into
SAFE mode then run a FULL Windows Defender scan. Let us know how you make
out.

OK, this one is strange, ist.sidewinder is a cell phone charger, no google
malware hits... but,

The Sidewinder G2® Security Appliance as part of its Application DefensesT
offers an optional best-of-breed anti-virus and anti-spyware engine add-on
module for email and Web traffic. The award winning Sophos anti-virus
engine with industry leading response times for virus signature update
services are integrated in the Sidewinder G2 system.

Are you running your computer from a location/enterprise that uses Secure
Computing's Products to protect your network from malware?

sorry,did i say sidewinder.....it was infact ist.sidefinder.many
appologies.but i will scan in safe mode and see what happens..thanks

Got you... it's WhenUSaveNow Sidefinder. Often this is distributed as part
of an archived (zipped) file which Defender would not delete from your
system if it finds it within an archive, in which case you'd have to
manually delete that archive or at least the Sidefinder part of it, if
there is other valuable data in there. But the SAFE mode scan is where to
begin, and then just watch for error return codes.
