Defaulting to Local Disk, when opening Explorer

Hi,

I found several threads on how to get Windows Explorer to remember it's
location and size after customizing them.... however, i have not found any on
how to make Windows Explorer default to either "Computer" or my "Local Disk".

It is really bothersome to open Windows Explorer and always be presented
with my Profile Folder that is auto-expanded. I can not for the life of me
figure out how to get rid of this, how to keep it from auto expanding, etc.

I've deleted it many times, but it keeps coming back. :)

Is there a way that when i open windows explorer, i'm presented with a
folder list similiar to that of XP (where i see my drives)?

Per a different thread, i did go into the Control Panel, Folder Options, and
set it to "Classic View" but that did not help.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

to make explorer open on the C drive for example right click on the shortcut
of explorer and
in the target window paste this

%systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,C:\

tell me if this helps

Yes, that worked great! Thanks.

Out of curiousity... do you know where i can find more information on what
switches are available for Explorer?

Thanks again! This was a big help.
