Defaulting to business fax

Two related questions: dealing with WinXP and Office
XP/Outlook 2002:

First, when I send an email and type in a name, Outlook
defaults to the business fax number, not the email
address. Annoying!

Second, for those emails where I don't catch this error,
there is now an "alias" set up somewhere that also
defaults to the fax number. I need to clear out the
alias file. Where is it? Do I just delete it?

You did not provide enough detail on how Outlook "defaults" to the Business
Fax. List all steps you are using to enter the address. You should bde able
to select the correct entry directly from the Outlook Address Book.

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
