I work on an XP machine that is connected to a network (I think that the
network is based on a Windows 2000 Server).
I set my view preferences in Windows Explorer so that full details of files
are displayed. I do this at root level and apply it to all subfolders
(Tools/Folder Options/View/Apply to All Folders).
This seems to work OK for a while, but every so often I find that when I
access a folder (unpredictable) the file view goes back to large icons with
details suppressed.
Any explanation for this and method of preventing it?
Thanks
