Default View for Folders?

How can I set a default view for folders? I'd like to have all folder
contents displayed as tiles, grouped by tiles, unless I explicitly define
otherwise.

Adjust everything, then click Organize > Folder and Search Options > View >
Apply to Folders.
Probably check 'Remember each folder's view settings' under Advanced
settings: as well, if you'd like that.
