Default User Profile Takes Longer to Load

Recently I took my Compaq 2710US in for repairs. After
the repairs were completed, I noticed that the default
user profile was taking an excessively long time to
load. I am talking 8086 time to load. Once it loads it
takes an excessively long period of time to load
application. When I use another profile on the same
machine I don't have this problem.

Any suggestions? I have restored the machine several
time but no help.

Create yourself a new profile?
