Default user at startup

When I start my computer the default user is 'Administrator.' In order to
get to my own setup I must log off as Administrator and then log in with my
own user name. How can I change this so it logs in directly to my user name?

I am the only user of this computer. This whole thing began when I set up a
LAN. Before that 'Administrator' never appeared and log in was directly to
my user name.

I hope someone can help!

You can run regedit.exe and navigate to;
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
edit the Reg_Sz string values
"DefaultUserName"
and
"DefaultPassword"
to reflect the correct username and password. (note: the password for an
autologon account can not be blank) Make sure you know the password for the
local administrator account before hand.

I'm having the same problem after setting up a LAN..!!! I don't think that
the regedit hack works because it says at the top of the link instruction
page.. "Preventing the Password Prompt in a Non-Domain System".. Maybe having
a LAN is a DOMAIN sytem..? I don't know, maybe someone with more technical
knowledge can help us out here or at least explain the rules involving
LAN's..

Thanks,

sally~
