Is there a way to stop XP asking me to choose an Account at startup.

I have just re-installed XP, and it asks me to choose an account. I am sure
that this never happened before. I am so used to switching the PC on and
leaving the PC to boot up on its own

THanks

Derrick

Setup an automatic logon. You can use TweakUI for XP to do this OR you can
use Start> Run> control userpasswords2. Select your account from the list.
Uncheck the box that requires a username/password to logon. Answer the
prompts that may appear.

TweakUI is one of the Power toys for XP.

TweakUI v2.00 for Windows XP:.
