Hello,

I am trying to find out why my Excel program is now defaulting to Frontpage.
I do not even know what Frontpage is. I have been unable to do work that I
need to do at home.

Any help would be aprreciated.

Not sure what your problem actually is, your description doesn't say enough.
If it's that when you try to open an Excel file by clicking on it, it tries to use
FrontPage to open it, then this is the fix:

In Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), click on Tools, then Folder Options, then
File Types. Scroll down the list to Microsoft Excel (there'll be more than 1 entry) and
select an entry. The panel below the window will tell you what program that type of file
is associated with. If you need to, you can change the association using the um... change
button.

This is Win XP. I haven't used other flavors of Windows in so long, I don't remember if
the dialogs are the same, but should be close.

You wouldn't have frontpage on your machine without having purchased it (and
you'd surely know if you'd bought it!?).

What exactly are the steps you're taking to make this (error) happen? are
you just double-clicking the Excel icon, and rather than Excel opening,
Frontpage (for some reason) opens instead?
