I am having a hard time finding where I set the default
theme to none.
FP2002
Thanks

After you create and save the page, you have turn the theme off for the
specific page.

By applying a theme to your site, any new pages created will assume the
applied theme as the default.

Thanks for the reply.
The strange thing is that it is an old theme that I no
longer use.
On my site www.yourcrafts.com I have one main theme that
is only on about 10 pages and then I create seperate pages
for artists and crafts people that each have their own
look and feel depending on their items.
I created a template to try to save time when adding new
vendors and for some reason the template has the theme I
started with over a year ago and no longer use.
Is there any way to save this template with a "none" theme
default?
Thank-You,
Ron McIntire

How did you apply your current theme, page by page. You really should create
individual subwebs (if your host allows) for pages that you do not want the
theme, shared borders to be applied to, since subwebs are completely
independent webs under the root web.

I made each page as needed and then either added a back
ground jpg and graphics or added a theme to the open page
and not to the whole site.
SubWebs are an option since I use Microsoft but I want
the shared borders to appear on all pages on the site so I
can't use subwebs. This directs customers and sellers to
the other vendors as well as other catagories.
I can't figure out why the default theme is applied to my
templet for new pages. Or how to delete it.

Do you happen to know if Microsoft supports PHP? If not
whom would you recommend? I am getting overwhelmed with
people trying to get on the site and I have decided to
automate it ,to a degree, so that they can add their own
products as well as build their own e-commerce.

Thanks for all your help in the past and the help that I'm
sure you will provide in the future.

The Theme component is really not meant to be used on a page by page basis,
it is meant to be applied to entire web site. There is no way to change this
behavior, since at some point you applied a theme to the entire site, which
then becomes the default theme for any new pages created.

Personally I would recommend going with ASP and not PHP, however that is a
personal choice, plus you will find more help here with using ASP vs. PHP.

But you then need to get a real web host, meaning a host that doesn't do
anything other than providing web site hosting and fully supports the
technology that you want to use.

Thanks for your reply and advice!
At this point all I need is a real host. I'm starting to
feel like the one I have is over priced and restrictive.
Any suggestions on a host that can handle ASP as well as
FP extentions?
I'll look on your site for info on ASP.
Thank-You for your time,
Ron McIntire

Find the pages using the other theme as a default and check them to have no theme
To make sure your template does not have a theme make sure it has
<meta name="Microsoft Theme" content="none">

Thanks for your help.
I'll dig around the site to find where the default theme
is coming from and change the pages to "none".
