When I create a new database table, and use a text field Allow Zero Length
is always set to "No". Is there a way to set the this defaults value to yes
whenever a new table is created?

Presently, I go through the table and have to catch every text type field.

Ah, so *you* are the guy who thought that was a good idea! The rest of us
have been wondering who you were ever since Microsoft changed the default in
Access 2002! :-)

Sorry, short of moving to Access 2002 or 2003, there isn't any way to change
the default. If it's any consolation to you at all, the rest of us are
thoroughly fed up with having to change it to 'No' in the later versions.
