Default setting for IE6

I recently sampled another browser and allowed it to become the
default browser.

How do i reset IE6 as the default browser?

I forgot to confirm that I do have a tick against " Internet explorer
should check if it is the default browser"
 
I have followed those instructions and IE6 is still not the default
browser. I am not asked when IE6 is opened.

My shortcuts, and the URL in your message, open IE6 but fail to put
the URL in the address window,
