Hi all
Hope this makes sense ! ...
I have experienced Outlook apparently issuing my 'acceptance' to an
appointment invitation without my knowledge. This seems to occur if I delete
an appointment request without opening it.
Any ideas why this happens ??

Version of Outlook?
Type of mail account?

For Outlook 2007;
Non-accepted meeting requests will show up as Tentative in the Calendar.
Upon permanently deleting a request before accepting or declining it, no
responds will be send to the sender nor will it show up in your Calendar.

Hi Roady

Outlook 2007, sorry don't know type of e-mail account.
This definitely happens to me - I have deleted the message yet Outlook has
still sent an 'acceptance' to the sender - which has cause some very awlkward
situations !!

do you have outlook configured to always accept or are you using a rule that
accepts meeting requests that meet certain conditions?

tools, options, calendar, resource options - the requests are processed a
few min after receiving.
