default search url

continually having problems with different search windows
opening up - other than the default microsoft one which I
want; just cleaned out one(7search) now have another one-
(global-finder) - I know you can go into tools and reset
the defaults but I want the correct page to come up in the
first place. very irritating! yes i have used spybot and
ad-ware-
